Além da anual e prestigiada lista de melhores jogadores do mundo, neste ano a HLTV.org realizou a primeira edição do HLTV Award Show. A premiação elegeu o melhor jogador em cada posição in game, além do “Dream Team” da temporada.
O “Best Five” de 2022 é composto por jogadores de NAVI, Cloud9, FaZe e G2. Foram escolhidos para a seleção Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov, Finn “karrigan” Andersen e Nikola “NiKo” Kovač. Trata-se do quinteto que venceu as categorias por posição.

Perfecto foi eleito o “Anchor of the year”, levando a melhor sobre Keith “NAF” Markovic da Team Liquid e Rasmus “sjuush” Beck da Heroic. O companheiro de NAVI, s1mple, levou a categoria “AWPer of the year” batendo Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov da Cloud9 e Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut da Team Vitality.
“Closer of the year”, na qual Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato era um dos finalistas, foi vencida por Ax1le. karrigan foi escolhido o “IGL of the year” e NiKo levou o troféu de “Opener of the year”.
Além de melhor AWPer de 2022, s1mple também foi eleito o “Player of the year”, enquanto Ana “ANa” Dumbravă venceu a categoria feminina de melhor jogadora, batendo a brasileira Olga “olga” Rodrigues. FaZe e Nigma Galaxy foram eleitos os times do ano, e Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov a revelação.
